Abby RockettGreenville, TX area
Email: [email protected] My name is Abby, and I have been a doula since 2020. With the birth of my first child I wished I had encouragement and knowledge to draw on - the kind of support that I want to provide you! A desire for that kind of care inspired me to become a Doula. As a certified Doula, it's my privilege to share my training and experience with women and families around Texas. I am equipped to aid mothers who birth with a partner, alone, or even via surrogacy. I believe in supporting mothers in most birthing styles and in the venue they find works best for them. As well as physical support during labor, my role is also to act as an advocate for the birthing woman and her family and to guide your non-medical self-care. I approach life holistically. One of the ways I do this is to use aromatherapy. |

Email: [email protected] Website: https://www.newdawndoula.com/ I am Dawn Cerino and I am the mother of three adult daughters whom I’ve had the pleasure of raising over the past 27 years. My husband and I are now empty nesters which affords me the opportunity to follow my passion of providing full support to women in labor and beyond. I was blessed to help my sister give birth to my niece, which made it clear to me that this was my passion and calling. Not having a doula at my own births, made me realize that I would have benefited from having someone navigate and calm my fears throughout the birthing process. Now, I can devote my time and would love to give you the support you need and deserve. |
Christina LundyBased in Conyars GA
Phone: (770) 296-2628 Email: [email protected] Birth, Postpartum, Childbirth Education I am Christina, a follower of Jesus and a mom of 5 kids. I’m a birth and postpartum doula as well as a childbirth educator. I have been fascinated by birth since a young age, but didn’t really know that I could work outside of a medical scope of practice until 2017 when I hired my own doula. I was a stay at home mom at the time and wanted to go back to work part time, and doula work was the perfect fit. After the birth of my 5th child, I attended doula training with Academy of Certified Birth Educators (ACBE) in May 2019. Spring 2020, I completed an apprenticeship with Labor of Love Doula & Childbirth Services and began serving clients. In winter 2022, I attended childbirth educator training (ACBE) and hold a certification to teach childbirth classes. My desire is for the families I work with to feel heard, supported and empowered throughout the process of bringing new life into the world. While birth can be unpredictable, I desire for my clients to feel secure and educated in the decisions they make. |

Katelynn BoltEmail: [email protected]
Phone: (682) 225-3022 Location: Azle, Tx Website: www.holymundanebirth.com Katelynn is the owner of Holy Mundane Birth, located in Azle, Texas and serving mothers and families from prenatal to birth and into postpartum in the DFW and surrounding rural areas. Katelynn is also a doctor of physical therapy with the majority of her career thus far spent in pediatrics and pelvic floor. Katelynn is a wife and mother to four children with one brought to her family through the blessing of adoption. From a young age, Katelynn has been passionate about birth and aspired to be an obstetrician but quickly moved away from that path when realizing how little time many medical providers actually get to spend developing relationships with their clients. Katelynn has a heart for mothers and children, leading her to pursue pediatric physical therapy and early childhood intervention, helping families through early difficulties of adjusting to life and helping children with unique needs not only live but thrive. After having her first child in 2019, Katelynn’s passion and calling for birth work was rekindled. Since that time Katelynn has been working to further her education and certifications in areas such as pelvic floor therapy and prenatal, birth, and postpartum doula services with aspirations to further her career into midwifery as God’s opportunities allow. Katelynn's Doula Philosophy Birth is a “Holy Mundane”, an experience that is life changing as well as completely everyday experience. It is an experience that you will never forget and that women all over the world go through every day. As such, it is my honor to be chosen to accompany a family through this sacred time in their life and family. I believe that God, as the ultimate creator, made the family unit and women’s bodies to create, birth, and raise babies. As beautifully intricate creations, women’s bodies were made to birth their babies without the need for interference in most circumstances. However, as with many things in life, there are times when things do not go to plan and interventions may be an integral part of a birth for the safety or coping of mom and baby. The need for any of these interventions in no way lessens a mother’s “success” or value in her birth. As a doula, my goal is to be a steady physical, emotional, and educational support to both the mother and any family support providers she may want to include in her prenatal, birth, and postpartum experience. When times of uncertainty or need for changes arise during a birth, my job as a doula is to provide the family with any educational resources they may need with out any pressure on which decision to make and then help advocate for the families wishes to their care providers when needed. |
GENNELLE MILESEmail: [email protected]
Phone: (980) 224-0897 Location: Charlotte , NC Services: Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Lactaction Consultant, Breastfeeding Specalist, Childbirth Educator My name is Gennelle Miles. To give you a bit of background on myself, I am a woman of strong faith in JESUS CHRIST, a devoted wife of a Pastor, and a mother who would do anything for her children. I have always been interested in Birth Work, but being a mother of six, it just was not a possibility. Having experienced natural birth myself many times, I am keenly aware of the amount of support a birthing mother requires to obtain the “best possible outcome”. Three of my births (my girls) were in hospitals and I remember how uncomfortable I was, how alone I felt. Even with my husband, who was highly attentive and supportive, I felt like I was the only one going through this with a room full of strangers. My next 2 births were AMAZING. All of my boys were born at home, I was able to move about freely, smell everything and anything that was familiar, hug and love on my children, and just be in my own space. I distinctly remember feeling loved and supported and it gave me a sense of peace and calm. Even in the rough moments I was able to cling to that feeling. It wasn’t until my last birth that I got to experience what it is like to have MOTHERS present at my birth, women who had experienced what I was smack dab in the middle of. I watched as these women cared for me, cared for my husband, and doted on my children when I could not, the love in my home was palpable!! It was then after my last son was born that my desire of Birth Work was reawakened, I promised myself when my youngest turned 5 that I would pursue a career in the Birthing Field. When my oldest got married and subsequently pregnant with my soon to be grandson, I leaped at the opportunity to share with her all I have learned and experienced. I began to pour all this knowledge into her and promised I would be there to guide her through her own experience. From working with my own daughter I began to realize how much this work is needed so I made a decision to make it a permanent pursuit. I am doing this for all mothers, who may not have access to loving, caring, knowledgeable, and experienced women to guide them through pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. I wish I had someone like me for the births of my older children I want to be that for her and for others. I believe with all of my heart that I am built for this work. I understand that it will be strenuous at times, but like I always tell my children; “Anything worth doing is worth working hard to complete!!” Because of who I am, and how I am built, I can not watch someone cry without asking how I can help, see some in pain or suffering and not offer them aid. It's called compassion and unfortunately it's rare in this world. Often this part of me causes heartbreak because another thing lacking in the society is gratitude. But I can't change me to fit the new normal of our society, I must be who HE has made me to be...that is part of the reason I wanted to become a doula, at the beginning of a new life is not only important for a mother to have loving support, but also that baby needs to feel that same love and support. As a mother of six I know what it feels like to be surrounded by love and affection... I want to provide that for new mom's and experienced moms and their babies! |

Birth, PP, and Bereavement Doula, Breastfeeding Specialist
Email: [email protected] Religion: Catholic (Pro-life) Hi! I’m Lisa. I’m training as a Doula through DONA and I have had three children of my own. I’m a practicing Catholic and so grateful to have a unit of women like this who want to support others. Having convictions has driven me forward but also created conflict when it comes to healthcare. The Catholic approach is contrary to most mainstream approaches and can sometimes create doubt and frustration when you’re trying to stand by your faith. I want to be a support for families in the most unique times and provide help when needed. |
